How long after an IPL facial should I stay out if the sun?

I always wear good sunblock, glasses, and hats but I am a runner should I avoid the sun completely for awhile?

I would advise patients to stop any topical glycolic cleanser or retinol cream 5 days prior to the laser and avoid use for 5-10 days post laser sessions. Always remember, the most important before and after care is to use sunscreen daily.
