I recently tried a new lip filler doctor, and it's now been 2 weeks and I feel like I look more "ducky" than my regular doctors work. The top lip feels heavy. And I feel like it looks very duck like from the side- I'm really not used to it. How bad is it and should i dissolve it? Thank!
Answer: Lip filler Hi @Megahollytron! The top lip looks a bit overfilled. This is a personal choice if you want to keep them or dissolve the product with Hylenex and start with a fresh canvas. Best of luck to you!

Answer: "Duck lips" Hi there-There is protrusion of your upper lip. If it has truly been only 2 weeks, wait at least 1 month to see if the lips settle a bit more. If not, and you still feel uncomfortable with the amount of protrusion, then you may want to consider dissolving and starting over. Good Luck!

Answer: Recommending dissolving little by little until you reach your desired look Longterm filler problems include migration, edema, and nodularity. Filler migration and permanence is a very common problem because there are many different types of HA fillers on the market and each is specified for a specific part of the face. Use of highly cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or nodules, we recommend a combination approach of filler reversal with enzymes Hylenex and Hyaluronidase in different strengths to dissolve the filler. We may also need to add Kenalog to the mix in order to reduce fibrous tissue. If the filler does not dissolve, it either means the filler is not HA material or we need more enzyme. The HA reversal can be combined with other lasers and skin treatments at the same time, and it usually (usually) does not affect adjacent tissue. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Lips Looks Fine Mega Thank you for sharing your photos. I think your lips look good. They may be a tad ducky or overfilled from what you are used to but they will settle down very shortly. I would not recommend getting the filer dissolved. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

Answer: Duck lip Your top lip is slightly larger than typical compared to your bottom lip. Some people like that look and others do not. I personally would not dissolve it, but that decision is totally up to you.
