Right side not dropping after six months - will I need a revision surgery? (Photos)

Question

Hello! I had 200 cc implants on each breast along with lift,aereolar incision. My left side was dropped right away and hasn't moved (in fact I wish it was higher) and the right side refuses to budge. The implant is high up and there is a lot of skin sagging underneath where the implant should fill out. The doctor keeps saying I need to massage it into place but it isn't working. Will I need revision surgery?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Don’t take pictures using mirrors.
Doing so reverses the picture.
This makes it confusing differentiating left versus right.
Generally speaking, the left breast sits higher on the chest wall and the right side on almost all people.
For that reason, the left implant should sit slightly higher.
In your case the right side is high
When placing breast implants, the surgeon has to make a judgment between having enough tissue to support the weight of the implant versus putting the implant in a lower position, which may look better but increased a chance of the implant bottoming out.
Personally, I think it’s better and safer to air on leaving the implant slightly high.
Lowering the implant has a much much easier revision than correcting implants that have bottomed out. 
Lowering the implant is pretty easy and straightforward, but does require having an operation.
Talk to your surgeon about revision procedures.
I generally recommend patient discuss each surgeons revision rates, indications for revision and revision policy during consultations.
Overall breast augmentation has a fairly high revision rate.
Some estimates indicate as many as 1/3 of patients having breast augmentation surgery will need a revision.
Of course, there are many different reasons for needing a revision.
Having an implant that sit slightly high is much much better than one that’s dropping and bottoming out.
