I had a BBL in April of 2016 and after the surgery I noticed lumps on my sides and belly but eventually most of the ones on my belly went away. However, the lump on my left hand side him never went away and after i gained weight it only got bigger. Would it be possible to have a tummy tuck and a revision of my BBL? I don't want to add any more butt I just want to enhance and contour as well as work on the dents on my butt. I am very frustrated by this unevenness and lumps. Please help!

Answer: Side lumps after a BBL left me with uneven hips, any suggestions? (Photos) If you are in good health with a BMI close to 30, you should be a good candidate for a BBL revision and TT. I perform a great number of BBL revisions from around the US and from other countries. I would say that an important thing to determine is the revision rate of the board certified plastic surgeon you select for the BBL. Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of BBLs each year and consistently produces the results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time.

Answer: Combination of surgeries Dear KJS7818, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: Tummy Tuck and BBL Revision Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) revision to even out and really perfect your contour. The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Tummy tuck and BBL revision I see no reason why you can’t have a full tummy tuck and a revision of your BBL.I think you should have revision work from where you had liposuction as well. For example the upper abdomen as a transitions onto your ribs wasn’t treated sufficiently and that fat thickness doesn’t match your abdomen.A tummy tuck will not correct an uneven fat distributions on your torso. You had a lot of fat added to your hips but it didn’t transition nicely onto your thighs.Adding a small amount of fat in this area and taking down the hips a bit would look better in my opinion. There’s definitely room for improvement which unfortunately it’s not uncommon after a BBL.This procedure is far more difficult to do with consistent high-quality results then people believe. There’s much much more to this than just getting a big bottom. So many times patients are OK with their fat transfer aspect but are left disfigured from the liposuction aspect. My practice is devoted exclusively to liposuction and fat transfer procedures and has been for the last decade.I feel like I have some authority in making the statements that I do.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
