Your nose needs the tip raised and brought a bit closer to your face. Very straightforward in your case. Closed rhinoplasty would do it. And no cartilage grafting
Hello! Thank you for your question. From the photo you provided your wishes can be achievable with open rhinoplasty. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the front of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
The other change you made was to "deproject" the nose -- to decrease its forward projection away from the face. That can be done as well as elevating the tip of the nose. How *much* to elevate the tip, or deproject the nose, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. For most noses, it's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. And it also discusses how to take photos that are best for online evaluations.
Hello,The short answer is yes this can be made with surgical rhinoplasty. However, you need to consult with a facial plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss the possible outcomes from surgery.
Based on your photos, you appear to have an overprojected and droopy nasal tip appearance. Issues like this are commonly addressed during rhinoplasty surgery. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
De-projecting the nasal tip: what you are showing, is a deprojection of your nasal tip. The projection is how far forward the nose, in this case your tip, sticks out from your face. The projection of the tip and in some cases other portions of the nose are common aspects of a rhinoplasty.
Hello! Thank you for your question. From the photos I can say that you have swelling. It can be due to your skin because you have thick skin. If you provide more photos before the surgery, I can make a better evaluation. Best Regards!
Hello,What might be bothering you is that your midface region and nose is a little bit more forward compared to your forehead and chin. To help with the harmony of your face, I recommend to you:-Rhinoplasty -fat injections to forehead-chin filler or implantBest regards
Based on your photos, you are a candidate for revision rhinoplasty. While I don't discretely see an open roof deformity, the bridge is low and appears a bit washed out. The open roof can be felt during an examination, so that is very important. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for...
