Mottled skin is common after lipo due to broken and damaged blood vessels beneath the skin but should resolve well before the two-year mark. You should talk to your plastic surgeon about your concerns, or consult with another surgeon if that makes you more comfortable. I would also recommend consulting with a dermatologist, who may be better able to address concerns about your skin’s appearance. Laser treatments or other noninvasive therapies may be able to help you.

I am sorry that you have to deal with this issue. When it comes to pigmentation issues usually an IPL/BBL laser works great and will likely give you reasonable results. You might have to undergo multiple sessions though.

Thank you for your question and including photos. Sorry to hear you're having this issue. I would recommend a series of either IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or BBL (Broad Band Light) treatments. These treatments can help to shrink the blood vessels which are causing the mottled appearance.
