I am worrying myself sick over my ruptured silicone implant. An ultrasound showed some intracapsular leaking. They are 14 years old. My plan is to have both implants removed and not replaced but I have recently found out i’m pregnant so won’t be able to have surgery for quite a while. I’ve been told it isn’t urgent and can wait but I keep reading about silicone migrating to the lymph nodes or elsewhere. How likely is this to happen and what would be the implications to my health?

It would be best to schedule an appointment with your surgeon as soon as possible. It is hard to determine your condition given the photo you have provided and an in-person examination would be the most accurate way to answer your questions. It seems the swelling is more persistent in your left...
Your PS has probably recommended the USS to look for a DVT in your calf. If your USS was normal and that was ruled out this is likely to be muscular and should settle. Best to see your PCP if you have on going calf issues.
