How long does it take for a seroma to absorb?

Im 2 month post op and still dealing with my seroma....it has been aspirated about 3 to 5 cc every 3 to 4 days.. My ps told me now to wait for 2 weeks to see if my body will absorb the fluid... How long does take ? Or should i get it aspirated again
