Is a combination of IPL and Vbeam for post-inflammatory erythema and uneven skin tone a good idea?

I am Fitzpatrick skin type II and have post-inflammatory erythema due to long-term struggle with papulopustular acne. The redness is definitely not a result of irritation as topical products don't work anymore. I have used azelaic acid and niacinamide before and have been using tretinoin for a year. My question is would you say one IPL treatment followed by V-beam and then another IPL treatment is a good idea or not? If so, at what intervals should they be done? Thank you so much in advance!
