Is Sebamed Anti-Dandruff shampoo harmful if used four days after hair transplantation? (Photo)

Question

Five days ago I’ve had a hair transplantation. Instead of Sebamed “everyday use” I’ve bought the anti-dandruff version by accident. I’ve used it yesterday for the first time and today. Now I’m worried if this will harm anything concerning the hair transplantation. I only softly dab shampoo (nearly touching) on my scalp after using lotion of 45 minutes. Afterwards I wash it off with lukewarm unpressurized water. Hope someone can enlighten me!

Using the anti-dandruff version will not harm  the hair transplantation. You may start to wash your transplant area at second day of surgery with care and massage the transplant area gently so the scabs will fall off... After two weeks of hair transplantation  it is acceptable  to wash hairs as normal /preoperative period of surgery. All scabs should be cleaned with pressured (not gentle) massage to transplant area  after 2 weeks .Dont forget that you may wash your head with normal pressure and if you need you can use a wet towel with soap for massage the scabby area, it Works very well to remove scabs .Patient may feel free to loosen any scabs on his/her head by massaging and that will not  damage the grafts after 2 weeks .

For the first 10 days, you should use a gentle shampoo like baby shampoo until the healing is complete. Then you can do what you need to do
