Best method to get more symmetrical alar base/nostrils? (Photos)

Question

I had rhinoplasty in 2014 to remove my dorsal hump and my doctor also resized my alar base with nostril repositioning to better match my new nose. I’m overall pleased with my nose apart from my nostrils being uneven- my right one is smaller and sits higher. Would reshaping the nostril with grafts or fixing my deviated septum give me a more symmetrical nose?

It is very difficult to fix nostril asymmetry. Alarplasty can achieve it some times but not always. In your case seems like there is a deviation of the nasal septum. Correcting that will help with the shape of the left nostril but bringing the right nostril down might cause more deformity or asymmetry. It is best to leave it alone as the risks are higher than the rewards.
