Fat graft or facelift first?

I'm considering having both fat graft and facelift. If I do fat graft first, it can cause scarring and can make the subsequent facelift harder. If I do facelift first and fat graft second, then I heard that the swelling from fat graft can cause some permanent sagging. Which should I do first?

It will all depend how frequently, how soon after surgery and for how long you will be using corticosteroid cream. It does affect healing to a certain degree. This is something that you have to discuss in detail with your surgeon and Dermatologyst. Good luck.

Fat grafting may be a way to correct small volume deficiencies in the chin. The use of fresh frozen cancellous bone grafts (the same that are used in orthopedic surgery) was recommended for moderate chin augmentation as a replacement for an implant.
