Early Sign of 11s, age 26. How do I erase these lines? (photo)

I'm 26 and my glabella lines are becoming visible. I stopped doing botox last year and will now resume to prevent further damage.. But how do I completely erase the lines that already appeared? They're etched in enough you can see them very visibly in person, but not deep enough to take a good photo. Recommended treatments?

Thank you for your question and photo. Botox is a great option for reducing the appearance of the “11 lines” you describe. You may also benefit from dermal fillers, which are regularly combined with Botox injections to enhance the results. 
Dermal fillers can restore lost volume in this area to reduce the appearance of a glabellar furrow, with results lasting for approximately 6-12 months. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can suggest the best formula to add to your Botox treatments.

I recommend you Botox. It temporarily relaxes the facial muscles that cause wrinkles on your forehead and around your eyes. Because it's a temporary treatment, you should continue once every 4 months. In your case, for patients who are in their twenties, small doses every 6 to 8 months are sufficient to prevent deep wrinkles. Best of luck to you.

​For glabellar lines (or frown lines / "11" lines), we inject Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport into the muscle, causing the muscle to weaken and improving the appearance of the lines. These work by binding to receptors that send nerve signals for muscles to contract. Since your body makes new receptors and neurotransmitters all the time, it needs to be maintained otherwise the wrinkles will slowly return as the muscle regains function over time. Neurotoxins take 2 to 4 weeks to start working and lasts for up to 6 months.

For deeper glabella lines or strong 11s, I use a combination of Botox with fillers, lasers and microneedling with PRP. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and expert in lasers and fillers. Best, Dr. Emer

Botox is the best preventative solution, so I would suggest keeping that up. As for any subtle lines, there are skin treatments like microneedling and lasers that can help to reduce or erase any damage that is already there. I would suggest looking into skincare treatments at medical spas to see what options they have.

Botox works to prevent the development of frown lines (and other lines on the upper face, as well) by quieting the overactivity of the muscles of facial expression in the region. However, once lines have become etched-in to the fabric of the skin, a cohesive, low viscosity filler can be used to elevate and smooth the line. Botox and filler work synergistically in this region and the aesthetic result typically lasts longer than is achieved by using each of the agents alone. Hi thank you for your question! I would recommend starting with your botox routinely, every three months. Botox routinely will help prevent the lines by relaxing the muscles in the forehead and in between the eyebrows. If you are not satisfied with the botox you can use filler to fill the lines directly. I currently use Volbella for the Glabellar lines off label. The other product that could be beneficial for you is smooth threads. These are dissolvable sutures that are placed under the skin to help build your bodies natural collagen in the area.

I think you are a great candidate for microneedling RF with Potenza. This treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, eliminates fine lines and wrinkles. Continuous botox will help dimish these lines over time. You want to keep up with regular botox so they don't get deeper and over time they should go away completely if you don't let them get too deep!
