How soon will I see results with PicoWay? Is it faster than other tattoo removal lasers?
Answer: PicoWay Requires Fewer Treatments The PicoWay is a fantastic advancement in technology for the removal of tattoos. It uses 2 wavelengths with the greatest power and shortest picosecond pulse duration available to breakup the tattoo into minute particles so that the body can naturally clear the ink. This advancement has reduced the number of sessions by nearly half.

Answer: PicoWay can treat tattoos with less follow up visits PicoWay is an excellent laser that we use in our NYC practice for tattoo removal. In my opinion, it can treat tattoos with less follow up visits in comparison to other lasers. What separates PicoWay from other methods of tattoo removal is that this laser uses photo acoustic energy as opposed to thermal energy. Therefore, this laser shatters the tattoo particles into much smaller fragments. Depending on the tattoo, it is required to have a series of treatments (4-5 sessions) in order to see optimal results, with 1 month space between each session. When considering tattoo removal, it is important to seek consultation from a skilled, board certified dermatologist. Thank you for your question, best of luck!

Answer: Picoway response time - tattoo removal Hi,I have seen clearances of between 40 - 60% with a single session for black tattoos. On an average around 2-4 sessions for black tattoos would be reasonable. Coloured tattoos may take longer depending on the pigments, but still should be lesser than the other lasers available in the market.
