For monolids, is it possible to have ptosis correction / fat and skin removal without creating a dramatic double lid?

nw2020
I have a lot of skin/fat sitting on top of my lashes. When I look straight on, I can feel the heaviness of my lid, and when I try to open my eyes really big, my eyes receding into my lids. Might not be related but my eyesight worsen every year even over 30. I want ptosis correction medically, but most place said I need double lid surgery as well. I don't want a dramatic change. Is there a reason it can't be done through ptosis correction via the incision route? thought that included the removal part
