What kind of treatment would be best for a 27 year old African American female with premature aging in the face?

Due to your skin's pigment, you would not be a good candidate for ablative laser procedures like CO2 or fractionated CO2.   
For your skin, I would recommend non-ablative lasers like Fraxel, or treatments that do not use heat like microneedling.  These are collagen stimulating treatments that can require multiple sessions and collagen stimulation that takes time to see the final results.   
Good skin care products like prescription strength retinoids slowly help increase collagen in the skin.
Daily SPF can help prevent further collagen loss and aging from the sun.   
Always seek cosmetic advice from a board certified Core physcian like a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to make sure you are getting the most experienced and knowledgeable advice.  

In your case with the skin type 5-6, laser would not be my first choice. Insulated microneedling like INFINI RF can help with collagen remodelling, however do not discount the use of Botox, dermal fillers, and other devices that LIFT eg. Ultherapy and Thermage.
