Just saw my PS book of BR's and many of the "patients" have uneven nipples and some of the aereolas also look too small or uneven. Yes, he is Board Certified and my BR surgery is in 3 weeks. I don't know how to approach him with these new concerns after seeing the book? Is there a way to not be offensive? I'm really concerned! Thanks, SO much!

Answer: Concerns about asymmetry Hi and thanks for your question. It is totally appropriate to ask your surgeon these questions. You must be completely comfortable with who you have chosen in your search. Most patients breasts/nipples are different prior to surgery, and I always try and point this out to my patients, so that they are not disappointed after surgery. However, not all surgeons are the same, so I think you can inquire about his results without feeling guilty about it. Hope this helps!

Answer: Breast Reduction - No Vertical Scar Dear Jjmstar333,Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is frequently difficult to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. My best advice is to be straightforward, and just ask about your concerns. Your surgeon should be able to address them, and give you a satisfactory answer. If you have not considered it already, you should be evaluated for a No-Vertical-Scar breast reduction technique. Some people refer to this as the Bellesoma Breast Lift technique. Our technique provides an exceptional breast lift, upper pole fullness, relief from neck and back pain, and no vertical breast lift scar. It uses a woman’s OWN breast tissue to produce an internal suspension technique, without the need for a breast implant. It does not disturb the nipple, areola, or breast glands, so sensation and the ability to lactate is preserved. It uses 3D scanning of your breasts and body to design a procedure specifically designed for YOU, and you alone. Finally, for patients who desire breast enlargement, it can be combined with fat grafting. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!
