Is Breast Augmentation covered under FMLA?

I person wouldn't have enough vacation time to recover from my BA. Can the surgery be covered under FMLA: Family Medical Leave Act? What do people tell their workplace? Don't to know they are having a BA.

Thank you for your question.  In my office, we never fill out FMLA paperwork for breast augmentations.  1) you don't need very much downtime at all 2) the procedure is completely cosmetic and electiveIf you were to have surgery on Thursday or Friday, you should be fine to go back to work the following Monday.  Depending on your job, you might have restrictions, but for the most part you are completely capable of performing most daily functions.
