Help, I used a bad product after a peel. Did I damage my skin?

Question

I wasn’t thinking and used a spray sunscreen (which contains alcohol) on day 4 post peel. It stung really bad and now my face is super red and feels like it’s constantly burning. What is the potential risk with this? Did I damage my new baby skin? If so, how bad? What recommendations do you have to help the situation?

Hi, Sorry that you have developed this. Use a good emollient with allantoin which will calm down the irritated skin. Sunscreens with a good spf will protect your skin without developing any complications like PIH. But be sure of what kind of product you are using. Kindly visit your provider. Take care.
