Are Voluma results noticeable instantly? Is there any downtime?

Yes, you will notice Voluma instantly. There is minimal downtime. I
would recommend icing the injected areas for the first 12-24 hours.

However, as with all fillers, you will likely experience temporary swelling, redness and possibly bruising. These responses can occur immediately, or develope over a couple of days. Voluma is supposed to last longer, and is meant to add volume - thus the name. So it is great for cheeks and the mid-face.

Juvederm Voluma filling of the cheek is immediate. The only downtime one can experience would be due to bruising. However, with the most common technique of deeper injections, that risk is reduced. Avoiding aspirin and other blood thinners (if possible) and possibly taking Arnica montana prior to the injections can further reduce this risk.
