Sculptra injections for buttocks, is it worth it? (Photo)

I’ve been thinking for a while now in getting the sculptra injections, im not interested in a bbl, i already had an evaluation done with a doctor and recommended at least 4 vials, I have done my research already and it says results usually last up to 2-3 years, is its worth it? Recommendations? The prices in Miami are around $700.00 per vial

Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve the shape of the buttocks. Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. GREAT question. The only accepted injections to enhance the buttock are Sculptra. I find most patients are "under treated in # of vials"! You stated 4 vials per side or 8 total vials, in my RS opinion are to few. I think based on the photos, you need least 15 vials per buttock cheek or 30 vials total. As for the longevity of the Scupltra. It demonstrates most of you do not understand  Sculptra's biologic action. It is a tissue growth stimulator. It is NOT a filler! So the results and longevity are longer with larger volumes injected. There are only a few buttock Scultra injectors in South Florida best to see more. I have patients 10 years out after Sculptra injections so it can last but it is based upon the volume injected.

Thank you for your question and posting your photos. Each vial of Sculptra generates approximately 5 cc or 1 teaspoon of volume so it can take quite a few vials to achieve the desired level of enhancement. We typically inject 10 vials with each session (5 per side) and plan for 2 to 3 sets of injections spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. Pricing may vary from location to location. When injecting Sculptra in the face it is typically $700-$900/vial. Use for the buttocks augmentation can range from $450 to $900/vial. We offer a large savings on the buttocks augmentation due to the large number of vials (10 minimum).I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
