I hate my nose. I believe it protrudes too far out in front of my face. I don’t like the projection of my nose. I have very little problem with the dorsal bump. My MAJOR problem is with the projection and the very tip of my nose. My nose looks really pointy. From certain angles the tip flips up making it look even worse. I want the tip brought in, rounded off, and the projection of my nose brought in closer to my face so it didn’t stick out as far.

Answer: No, you don't need a nose job No, you don't need a nose job in my opinion. A man's nose should be relatively large, as compared to a woman's nose. Chin augmentation is an alternative that some patients consider, who think there nose is too large or protruding. If you haven't already, then speak with a plastic surgeon to review options with you.Best,Dr. Chaboki

Answer: Do You Think I Need A Nose Job? Hi, I have performed many Rhinoplasty Surgeries over the past 30 years. From the photos, your chin is quite weak, the nose is a bit wide with a slight dorsal hump and a nasal tip that is under-rotated (makes the nose appear long) but not over-projected (tip sticks too far off of the face). A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin. Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick and highly effective. I perform this procedure using a local anesthetic in 30 minutes or less. Rhinoplasty can refine and alter the shape of the nose but chin augmentation would be required to create harmony and balance to the lower face.Hope this helps.
