we like them on the same day combined with clear and brilliant, laser genesis, micro needling and PRP. I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel, Viva, Co2/Erbium4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skinBest, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your question. Theoretically you could get both done on the same day but maybe uncomfortable together vs separate. The Laser Genesis is a long pulsed Nd/YAG laser and the C&B is a fractionated non specific treatment they can be done without regard to timing. It would be best to separate by a few days for tolerability. Best!
Generally speaking, you could either get both treatments done on the same day or let one treatment completely heal before receiving another laser treatment on the same area. That being said, both lasers require relatively little downtime so you should not have to wait very long. As different people heal at different rates depending on the aggressiveness of the treatment and a variety of other factors, it is difficult to give an exact timeline as to when you will be fully recovered. Some offices currently stack treatments, which affect different layers of the skin, seeking better results. I would discuss this with your provider.
These treatments are done on the same day my many physicians. I would feel comfortable treating you as soon as your skin has healed from the laser genesis treatment.
Laser treatments are often combined or "stacked" depending upon the condition of your skin, the desired downtime, and the speed at which improvement is desired. It is best to consult with a physician who can develop a treatment plan for you that will fit your lifestyle and budget. In general, it is best to recover from one treatment before the next is done. These are both relatively gentle lasers, so one month may be appropriate. Let your physician guide you. All the best, Alexis Parker MD
