Hello! I am considering C&B and Genesis for very light/old acne scarring and pigment. Can clear and brilliant help at all with scarring? It is very superficial, I can only see it in certain angles/lighting. It bothers me mostly because it is around the thin eye skin and lightly on my cheeks. Can any of these two cause fat loss? Orange peel texture? What is the worst that can happen?
Answer: Expert Treatments with Clear and Brilliant Microfractional laser treatments can benefit skin quality and resiliency through collagen stimulatory effects. In our office, we use combination platforms for Clear and Brilliant added to PRP, fractional RF, and filler placement in order to enhance the skin. We use Clear and Brilliant laser to improve sun spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, atrophic skin, and skin wrinkles; in addition to scars. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Answer: Help with Textured and Pigmented Acne Scars Hello Madcha. Pictures would help clarify if you are a good candidate for the procedures you are considering. Generally speaking, a device like laser Genesis may be able to help with colored scarring (especially if it's dark marks), but not so much with textured scars. Textured indentations generally respond better to fractional laser resurfacing as can be seen in the photos at the link below. Best of luck.

Answer: Superficial Acne Scarring / Mild Acne Scars -- Combination of Lasers (Fraxel, Erbium, CO2) + RF treatments, microneedling/PRP Without any photographs, it's difficult to determine the best treatment solution for you. Generally speaking, we recommend lasers such as Fraxel, Erbium and CO2 or fractional radiofrequency (Venus Viva, Skinfinity, Intensif microneedling RF) for textural issues and superficial scarring. We combine all lasers with microneedling/PRP to improve the results and accelerate your healing time. Keep in mind that a personalized combination treatment by an expert physician will give you the improvement you're looking for; everyone has a unique pattern of scarring (and a combination of scars), so a customized treatment plan will offer the best result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Clear + Brilliant and Laser Genesis for superficial acne scarring Without an in-person consultation it can be difficult to determine the best approach as various lasers are able to treat different issues at different layers of the skin. Clear and Brilliant can help improve overall skin texture. Laser Genesis can help with acne scarring as well as treatments like microneedling or prp (platelet rich plasma). Be sure to talk to an experienced provider about your treatment goals and the best methods to achieve them.

Answer: Treating mild acne scars It's hard to comment without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. I prefer microneedling or Ematrix (Sublative) for milder acne scarring. Clear + Brilliant is good for enlarged pores and pigmentation although IPL works better for pigmentation alone in the appropriate patient.
