I am 2.5 months out from a full face lift. One of my ear lobes is enlarged still. My doctors says it should go back to its normal size eventually. If it does not, is there a treatment for shrinkage ? I can't wear earrings because it calls attention to the different sizes. Thanking you in advance for your advice.

Answer: Swelling of the ear lobe can persist for months Swelling of the earlobe can persist for months and sometimes some swelling may persist forever. Earlobes may also look larger if they have been pulled on by the facelift closure etc. If you feel your earlobe is too big or swollen after a year, you could talk to your surgeon about a small earlobe reduction.
