3 years ago a partner told me I wasn't as tight as his previous partners. I have been paranoid ever since. I am 45 and gave birth to one child vaginally 14 years ago. 8lbs 10, forceps + episiotomy. No issues with leaks and can even hold a 130g (4.5oz) kegel weight without any effort. Sex is good and I'm content aesthetically & can pass the pencil test! Would I be silly to get this procedure? I just want to be how I was before I had my child. But I regret having a vaginal birth and worry that I am "big" down there. Would you recommend surgery?
Answer: Surgery won't erase your memory You don't need surgery. If you're happy with your sex life, it doesn't need fixing. The only thing out of alignment here is the the importance that you have chosen to attach to the meaningless comments of a previous partner. Learn to forget and move on. People like that will find something else to comment about to get under your skin.

Answer: Yes, you'd be silly to have a surgery that you don't need! Hello Brave, Thanks for your question. Hopefully you got rid of your partner since it sounds that the problem was with his size and performance. You state that your sex is good and that you're content aesthetically, well this is all that matters! For having had a large baby with forceps and episiotomy consider yourself fortunate, but don't regreat having had a vaginal delivery. You will never be like you were before your vaginal delivery, but you can take steps to maintain the good sex you are having, but surgery isn't one of them. I strongly feel that "you can't make good sex better surgically" and thus the popularity of non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments which include CO2 laser vaginal resurfacing, Radiofrequency introital tightening, and the O-Shot. These treatments in combination are very well received by my patients, many of feel they end up having the best sex of their lives. Go to the link below to learm more about these treatments. From that link you can schedule a virtual consultation via phone or zoom, at which time we can discuss in depth your anatomy, expectations and concerns. Best of luck,

Answer: Your opinion is what matters What you describe is completely normal and healthy after childbirth. If you are not experiencing any issues with leaking, no aesthetic problems or sexual issues, there shouldn’t be a need for Vaginoplasty. Unfortunately your previous partner may have left you feeling insecure, but it seems unwarranted. Hope this helps!

Answer: Do I need vaginoplasty Thank you for your question It sounds like you are doing well just as you are. Surgery should be performed only when you are unhappy with how your body feels. The term vaginoplasty technically means plastic surgery of the vagina and , except for the creation of a new vagina, does not refer to a specific procedure. The vagina is attached on six sides and each is repaired differently. The entrance you show in your photo is only one of six. There are risks to all surgery and taking risks without you yourself feeling you are loose or having a related issue would be unwise. On the other hand, if you are not enjoying sex because you feel too wide inside, then vaginal reconstruction can help. I advise my patients to consider surgery for their own benefit and not for their partners opinions. You can also consider radio frequency such as Thermiva which increases collagen and thus increases stiffness which can give the sensation of being tighter , is nonsurgical and without the risk or cost of surgery. Confer with a reputable cosmetic gynecologist on your options. Do your research

Answer: Gain self-confidence You have already explained yourself very well, sex is good and you feel good aesthetically. Your partner's statement confused you. According to the pictures, there does not seem to be a need for an operation, but nothing can be said without an examination. Having a vaginal delivery does not necessarily mean that it will cause vaginal enlargement.
