That can be caused by the suturing done inside the nose or by the healing process. It would help to see before photos

Sometimes it takes a full year for swelling at the base of the nose to completely dissipate after rhinoplasty surgery. In that regard, sit tight and let nature take its course. I hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

It is possible to help this condition using nostril splints. You can find them on line as a silicone made small tubes recommended for people who have problem with breathing. Use them over-night for several months, it may help. Good luck.

To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure, we usually need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
Without knowing what you looked like before surgery or knowing what was done during surgery, it’s difficult to make quality assessment.
