I often get tender breasts on and off just slightly. But recently, and it’s now only 1 week to my surgery (implants above muscle) I feel it is a lot more tender/achy than usual. I have quit nicotine 4 weeks ago & maybe been eating a little more. Maybe this can mess hormones up a little? But my question is it still safe to get surgery on that day with ttender breasts? Which is probably due to hormones.. definitely not pregnant! Thanks
Answer: Breast Augmentation Thanks for your question! Many women have tender breasts now and then. You should be fine to have surgery. Reach out to your surgeon with your concerns. Best wishes!

Answer: Breasts Yes, you can still have surgery even if your beasts are tender as long as you are not pregnant. The implants will probably not change the tenderness. Stay off tobacco. When you can, start taking vitamin E and cut back of caffeine.

Answer: Tender breasts Breasts can become tender for many reasons including monthly hormone changes. There is no need to postpone the surgery for this reason. If you are pregnant the surgery will have to be canceled. If you feel any new masses you should have your breasts examined by your health care professional prior to surgery.

Answer: You can feel safe before and after surgery Hello, I am plastic surgeon Serkan Kaya Ekinci. I would like to inform you a little about your question. First of all, it is a very good decision for you to quit nicotine. The biggest preparation before going into surgery is actually psychological preparation.12 hours before surgery, the person must stop full feeding.Following hospitalization, the patient undergoes final evaluation. Because it may be a previously unnoticed disease or an infectious disease. Some tests will be applied to evaluate these. If the results of the tests are clear, the patient is dressed in a surgical gown and taken to the operating room. The anesthesiologist comes and makes final checks. The surgeon makes final checks and checks whether the patient is ready for the procedure. In the case of Over-Muscle Breast Prosthesis Surgery, or as it is popularly known, over-muscular silicone surgery, the silicone breast prosthesis is placed under the breast gland, but into the loose tissue that separates the breast tissue from the pectoral muscles (chest muscles), i.e. It is placed between the muscle and breast tissue. This placement is typically considered the most aesthetically pleasing because it most closely matches the normal pattern of breast tissue.Over-muscle silicone breast prostheses offer a more attractive cleavage line with a distinct roundness in the breast. Additionally, surgical complications are less compared to “above-muscle silicone surgery” and “under-muscle silicone breast prosthesis surgery”. Pain is less after supramuscular silicone surgery. In addition, since “above muscle silicone surgery” does not involve intervention in deep tissue, the surgery and recovery period are shorter. Don't worry, I'm sure you will be happier than before.
