I’m having genioplasty to reduce my chin. The incision will be made through my lip. Complications have been discussed with my surgeon, including numbness and loss of feeling to my lip. I expect to experience this for at least a few weeks and I’m aware there’s a chance the feeling to my lower lip won’t return.Could my speech be partially or significantly affected permanently? My job requires me to speak to clients and colleagues daily, so this would be a problem if I end up with speech issues
