Scar tissue columella - can anything be done to improve my nose such as scar tissue removal or injection? (Photos)

Question

I had a revision rhinoplasty back in 2019, my columella has a lump on it and scar tissue in right nostril making it look Asymmetrical. Original surgeon refused to use steroid injection on it. I really don’t want to have another revision surgery: can anything be done to improve my nose such as scar tissue removal or injection?

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include columellar excision, nasal tip deprojection, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
