How soon after a tummy tuck can I get lipo in my bra roll area and upper thighs?

Hi i had a tummy tuck with lipo and flank lipo 7 days ago i am very happy with the results so far. However i would like to get lipo in my bra roll area and upper thighs how long should i wait to get this done safely thanks

Thank you for your question. For safety reasons you need to wait at least 6 months to have another procedure. I would suggest to be treated by board certificated plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

It is important to wait for few months before getting another general anaesthetic procedure. 3 months can be a good minimum time between the procedures. Please see a Consultant Plastic Surgeon to discuss your case where all swelling has gone down before going for surgery in the same area

I encourage you to allow your body to heal from this recent surgery before considering these other areas.  You should be able to consider further liposuction after 3-6 months depending on how you progress through recovery.  Your surgeon will advise you when it is safe for you to consider further surgery.

If the Liposuction is going to blend in with any of the liposuction done during the first procedure you need to wait a full six months.

The correct person to ask your question is your plastic surgeon. They may have concerns such as being properly healed before laying face down on the operating room table.

If the area being treated with Liposuction has not been treated before then there is no specific amount of time to wait other than recovering to be prepared for another operation which means laying on the operating room table and being overall recovered from the first procedure.

I suggest our patients to have second surgery after 3 months of time but if the surgery area will be different area, only 2 months is enough. I assume that you haven't had any procedure to your bra roll and upper thighs.
