Discoloration (purple and white) on lower lip 2 years after Juvederm and Restylane Kysse - What can I do? (photos)

I had .5ml of restylane kysse two years ago, which settled well, although it left a purplish mark on my left lower lip. Over this area, the skin would go dry and periodically slough away. Now there is a permanent white mark (like a scar) over the purple patch. Last January I had a consultation with a cosmetic nurse who said the mark was likely pre-existing pigmentation. I went ahead with 0.5ml of Juvederm, but the scar is more noticeable. Please advise what this is and what I can do.

The symptoms you describe are most likely completely unrelated to your Restylane treatment, especially five months after treatment. I encourage you to contact your primary care physician to review your symptoms and discuss treatment options.
