Should I have gotten more dissolved before she added 1 ml of filler?

I had my previous lip filler dissolved. However, according to my old photos pre lip filler, it seems like there was still filler left in my top lip after dissolving. I went to a new injector and she told me I didn’t have to dissolve again, and added 1 ml of restyllane kysse. I know I’m still swollen but would you have suggested getting more dissolved? Should i dissolve and start over on my top lip after 2 weeks?

Hello, and thank you for your question. I have never used Restylane Kysse for the under eyes, but that is not to say another practitioner has not. I usually recommend Restylane-L or Volbella for the under eyes as these are both great fillers for tear troughs. If you are interested in under eye...

Each filler has different properties including crosslinking which give it particular properties. Your treating provider will decide which product they believe is appropriate for you.
