Hollow undereyes - Am I a candidate for lower blepharoplasty? (Photos)

Question

The main thing that bothers me is the hollowness under my eyes which makes the skin look almost green/purple. Bags are also visible under certain lighting. One surgeon has recommended traditional lower bleph, stating that the skin may become lax if only fat is removed via transconjunctival method. I'm worried about the shape of my eyes changing with the traditional method. As a side note, can anything be done about the asymmetry of my eyes?

Young women with smaller cheek bones (malar hypoplasia) frequently present with this type of deformity very early in their life (13-19 years). Surgical correction includes correction of muscle attachment which creates tear trough deformity (via transconjuctival blepharoplasty) and augmentation of cheek bones with implants or fat grafts. In person or teleconference consultation with a board certified plastic surgeons with experience in this procedure is recommended. Good luck.

Not uncommonly, the use an appropriately selected, robust HA volumizing filler properly injected in the region of the upper cheeks indirectly improves under-eye hollows, tear troughs and bags. The reason: the upper cheeks provide support to the under eyes and when this support is restored with the proper filler, the transition between the upper cheeks and the under-eyes is smoothed and the hollows are secondarily diminished.
So, before jumping into expensive, aggressive surgery with its attendant prolonged, post-surgical downtime, you may wish to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler injector expert. In experienced hands, the treatment takes about ten to fifteen minutes to perform, typically yields immediate "Wow!" results and usually engenders little to no significant, post-treatment downtime.
