To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. If you’ve had more than one procedure, then you should include before and after pictures of each of your previous operations. Your pictures are insufficient to make quality assessment. The contour of your abdomen is either due to skin laxity, and how your skin drapes or related to the fat contour, based on how the previous procedures were performed. To differentiate skin, laxity, simply pull up on the skin above the area of concern and see if that fixes the problem. If putting the skin under tension completely fixes the contour issue, then the problem is related to skin laxity. if the problem area looks the same when pulling on the skin above the area, then it’s more likely related to fat distribution and a revision Liposuction would be indicated.
Most patients should expect to lose weight after liposuction, even if that is grafted back like in a BBL. To be at a neutral weight patient should actually be several pounds lower than pre-surgery.
Those who gain weight after liposuction typically have less overall patient satisfaction from the outcome than those who can successfully lose weight after the procedure. I suggest you follow up with your provider and discuss your concerns with him or her.
