Answer: Lip flip From the photos and description of your concerns you will have the best result from a combination of Botox and fillers. Botox lip flip can help show a bit more of the "pink" part of the lip. Fillers can help shape the lips and improve surrounding tissues. You can also consider treatments such as Morpheus8 to improve overall skin tone and texture.

Answer: For Downturned Angles Of The Mouth: Botox Can Work, But Filler More Consistently Does A Botox Lip Flip is an entirely different use of Botox. For down-turned angles of the mouth, such as seen in the photos provided, Botox can be used. However, in the thirty-two years I have been routinely injecting Botox for cosmetic reasons, I have not found it to provide consistently pleasing nor particularly long-lasting results when used for down-turned angles of the mouth. An appropriate HA lifting filler, on the other hand, when injected with the proper technique, can produce immediate gratifying improvement. My last three patients yesterday in fact had precisely this problem treated in this fashion, each with immediate straightening of the angles of the mouth. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist, and best of luck.

Answer: Treating downturned lip corners The procedure using Botox called a lip flip is not for your case. In order to bring the corners of the mouth higher, you need to inject a depressor muscle, which is called DAO. This injection using Botox or similar products is done below the corner of the mouth. You should know if this will work on you within approximately one week. If this will not correct the issue, you may need a direct lip corner lift.
