Hello, I had a breast uplift with implants in August 2021. I had 450cc implants put in. Although I am happy with the result I received, I always wanted them to be bigger but settled for the largest they would offer me at the time. Now they have settled and somewhat shrunk, I am looking into further surgery to increase my breast size to around 600-650cc. I wanted more upper pole as well. Is this something that could happen? Any advice please.
Answer: Breast implant update Thanks for your inquiry and pictures, without measurements it is hard to advise particulars. That being said, however all three major implant companies have extra high/full implants that have a narrower base width to projection that reach over 600 cc. Hope that helps, best of luck.

Answer: Breasts Please don't go bigger. Initially, you will look fine, but then your tissue will stretch from the weight of even heavier implants and you will sag even more. Implants don't shrink, but your tissue stretches and thins and holds less well over time. An internal mesh bra could be used to try and support these implants.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Implants do not provide lift to the breasts. Your breasts are already wider than your chest wall and are mechanically unstable. You need a breast lift and small implants. The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers or small implants can be placed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Charl20, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Probably maxed out now When you need a breast lift, it means that your tissues have poor elasticity. And that means that you will never have long term upper pole fullness as the weight of bigger implants will stretch and settle back down over a year and wind up looking matronly. Patients need to understand and accept what their own starting point and tissues will allow. I would suggest doing nothing from where you are. Others may suggest internal support materials, mesh etc but that is no guarantee of what you want if you are trying to go that much bigger. Again, the tissues dictate the final result.
