Should I get V-beam laser treatment for my facial redness or should I continue with IPL? (photos)

Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. The V-beam laser is specific for redness.  I would use the V-beam before using the IPL which is a filtered light source and is not specific for redness.

I would switch to either of the 2 lasers above. The redness you have is severe and should definitely get better with treatment. There is a little more swelling with the Excel V, but it is better.

V BEAM over IPL for me. This is because laser is more specific, whilst IPL or BBL produces a spectrum of light, whilst laser produces one wavelength. I personally would opt for V BEAM, now here is the tricky part... because your blood vessels are tiny (like a birthmark) the pulse duration for the laser has to be short. This means if treatments were to be conducted with V BEAM, expect swelling and bruising for at least a few days.
