How many V Beam treatments would I need? (Photo)

Question

After getting my acne under control I am left with these persistent red marks. My dermatologist recommended I go for VBeam laser treatments to treat this. Based on the pictures how many would I need? Thank you.

Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. We routinely use PDL for this condition.  We usually do 2-4+ treatment sessions up front spaced out one month.  Touch up treatments are sometimes required yearly.  Of course, there are many variables that can affect our treatment approach and there are many laser settings to tackle this problem - and results vary from person to person.  Hope that helped.
