If you are having Vbeam treatment, which is a PDL laser, on an area of your body which you are planning to have massaged, I would recommend waiting 2 weeks before going. The reasoning for this is your skin will be in the process of healing after laser, and any firm massage to the area can lead to local irritation and slow the healing process. After Vbeam I recommend use of sunscreen, sometimes a topical cortisone for 2-3 days, and only gentle skincare.
The only real restrictions I place of patients after VBeam is to watch their sun exposure and don't overhead for first 24 hours. A massage is perfectly fine.
