i had my implants removed. orginal site was tuba, so dr placed new incisions for removal. she placed them much higher than my creases stating it would keep my bras from irritating the scars, but one is placed very high onto my breast and is now tethering inwards. is this fixable with scar revision or will it get better with time? implants were removed 6 days ago. i am devastated as breasts would look great if scars were properly placed. she denies they are too high.

Answer: Breast Scar Tethering after Breast Implant Removal?
Animation of the envelope by the muscle after implant removal may be improved with scar release. However, the muscle may produce this result after the scar forms.
Thank you for the picture. Being that its only 12 days post-surgery it can be scar tissue. This situation needs to be address with your primary or PS.
Drains are usually placed after implant removal for infection. The nature of what comes out can vary from clear straw color (like blister fluid) to red (blood) to cloudy. The best thing for you to do is call your plastic surgeon and ask them. They may need to see you to check this out.
