I was diagnosed with hidradenitis suppurativa at the age of 18. I guess you can say I'm one of the luckier ones who doesn't get constant out breaks so I'm stage 1 of this disease. I got symptoms since I was around 12(hit puberty) and now I'm 34 and I get a minor outbreak 1 every 6 months to a year. I do have scarring though mostly depressed scars with a mixture of ice pick looking scars. Is there any surgical procedure to help with this? Or is this a lost cause?
