What kind of procedure should I get to fix my protruding chin? I am very self conscious of my side profile, because of it. I would also like to soften up my nose. It's very straight. I would like for it to curve inwards a little more and for the tip to be a little flatter/smaller. I have had braces and wore rubber bands to correct an underbite.

Answer: Risk of reduction of chin. Must be minimal
In terms of aesthetics, I think that you should focus on the nose first. You chin is strong but not unflattering.Further, chin reduction reduction is not done by most plastic surgeons since its hard to deliver great results.
A sliding genioplasty can be combined with jaw angle implant augmentation for a total jawline augmentation effect. This can create more a v-line jaw shape when the two procedures are put together.
With an established and stable occlusion, only a sliding genioplasty bone surgery can be considered at this point for improvement of you recessed chin. Your chin deficiency in profile is well within the limits of what a sliding genioplasty can well correct.
