I'm young, but don't like my cheeks shape. I have a larger nose & my flat cheeks really amplify it. I am happy with my face from the front, but not the side. I like how my cheeks look fuller when I smile, but at rest they're SO flat & my lips point downward (always look angry) I have some undereye wrinkles I was born with (seriously). What is the best way to increase fullness, maybe pull my lips up slightly? Mini face lift? Cheek implants? Sculptra? I'd really like the results to last... Thanks!
Answer: Flat cheeks Thank you for your question and the photos.A good way to start would be a filler injection, you shouldn't need too much, make sure to go to someone who is experienced in giving cheek injections. If you like the results then you can look at fat injections which are a more long term option.Good luck

CONTACT NOW Answer: Facial Contouring with Fillers (Juvederm Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Radiesse, Bellafil), Sculptra, Fat Grafting, Implants Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Ideal Age to Consider Your Facelift Options A #facelift is a surgical procedure designed to smooth and remove major folds, wrinkles and excess skin around the #neck and #jawline; which form on our faces with age. Gravity, sun damage, smoking, living in a dry climate, and a variety of factors contribute to the aging process of our faces. The best candidates for facelifts such as #LiteLift are patients 35-60 years old with early changes of the lower face and the neck.It is important to understand that facelifts are not intended to remove fine wrinkles. A facelift which removes every line and fold would be too aggressive resulting in an unnatural result. Fine lines and #wrinkles are better addressed by non-invasive skin treatments such as chemical peels or microdermabrasion, which we also offer at our office. At this point and your age, you may not be a #facelift candidate. However, there are many other cosmetic options to accomodate your goals at your age all while providing great results. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or their licensed esthetic staff to learn more about treatments best for you.

Answer: 22 yr old female, best way to add fullness to flat cheeks? Adding volume to give facial balance can be done many ways. Injectable fillers both temporary or more permanent, fat transfer, and even cheek implants can add the volume you desire. At 22, you have much too much skin tone and texture to be a candidate for even a mini facelift which would not solve your issue anyway. Consult with a specialist in facial rejuvenation and discuss your options. Photos can be taken and computer imaging with 2-D and/or 3-D enhancements can help you decide which option is best for you. Often times a combination of adding volume to your cheeks and decreasing the projection of your nose can help achieve the balance you desire. John Standefer MD

Answer: Cheek volume As a specialist in the FaceI've seen many patients who have this issue. You have options stemming from synthetic nonpermanent injectable materials to augment the cheeks to permanent implants. If you want something long-lasting and seeing that your cheeks were probably never full, cheek implants may be the best option for you. This is a very easy procedure to do and has very quick recovery with minimal pain. Please consult a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon for details.
