I had Juvederm 6 months ago, I want to add more, but lately I developed drug allergy, I'm getting allergic rash after I took Antibiotics,hormones or other prescribed meds . Can I still get my filler or is it risky?

Yes, you can still get injectables even with other medication allergies. You will need to get a small test area injected on a non-sensitive area and then wait 1-2 weeks before completing the entire treatment of filler to ensure you do not have a reaction. As a warning, severe swelling can happen to anyone after getting filler even those who do not have an allergy, so do not confuse swelling with an allergy.

Allergies to dermal fillers are uncommon.  Typically it is fine to have a filler treatment despite being allergic to other medications.  It is always best to discuss the situation with your injector prior to treatment.
