Hello, I've had lip injections: 1 ml in 2021, another 1 ml in September 2022, and 0.5 ml in February 2023 (all using Stylage). Additionally, I've had nasolabial injections: 1 ml in September 2022 (Rejeunesse) and 0.5 ml in February 2023 (Stylage). Recently, I've noticed two lines at the corners of my mouth. I contacted my doctor, who said these lines can't be caused by filler migration since the injections were done a while ago. What do you think?"

Thank you for sharing your experience and photo. Filler migration is a possibility, but it typically occurs soon after the injection rather than months later. Given the timeline of your treatments, it is unlikely that the lines you're noticing are due to filler migration from injections performed several months ago.

These lines could be due to other factors such as natural aging, skin laxity, or even muscle movement around the mouth area. It's also possible that these lines have become more noticeable as the fillers have gradually metabolized.

A thorough in-person examination by a qualified professional is essential to determine the exact cause and to discuss potential treatments. Options might include additional filler to smooth out the lines or other procedures tailored to your specific needs.
