Are you more likely to end up with fibrosis after a second round of liposuction?

The answer to your question is yes.Fibrosis is a condition that results from overly aggressive liposuction we’re almost all the fat is removed. The body responds by having a strong inflammatory response and creates scar tissue to heal after surgery. If most or almost all the fat is removed the body layers go from skin to scar tissue to muscle with very little to no fat. that condition is called fibrosis. it is not a condition that happens to some people it is simply the body‘s response of having overly aggressive liposuction especially poorly done liposuction with an uneven fat distribution.
Because secondary liposuction removes more fat there will be more scar tissue and less fat to absorb describe tissue and the amount or incidence of fibrosis is increased.
As long as a modest even fat layer is maintain the body can tolerate having scar tissue and the tissues feel and look normal.
The condition is always a direct reflection of poor technique.
Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe.
For that reason patient should be very selective when she using providers.
I suggest patients have multiple in person consultations during which they should ask providers to show their entire collection and before and after pictures. you should be able to see at least 50 send some before and after pictures during anyone consultation.
Improving poor Liposuction results is very difficult and sometimes not possible. This is especially true if someone was treated aggressively during the first procedure.
Without including before and after pictures we can’t make an assessment or give you any recommendations.
Typically patients should consider liposuction results to be permanent and irreversible.
