I keep reading that RF microneedling is used to tighten skin. Will it work on the forehead area? Thanks.
Answer: Microneedling vs. Surgical Lift Microneedling is a non-surgical treatment that works by creating tiny injuries in the skin. These channels stimulate the body to produce more collagen, which provides additional support to the dermal structure. As collagen levels increase, the skin becomes thicker, smoother and firmer. In my office, I combine traditional microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to further enhance the rejuvenation effect.

Answer: Microneeding RF for forehead Microneeding does create some skin tighteinging by stimulating collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of your skin. That being said, this treatment varies greatly depending not only upon the device that is used but also upon the operator that is using the machine. I would strongly recommend an in office consultation with a reputable and experienced provider preferably a board certified plastic surgeon. kh

Answer: Tightening forehead skin A forehead lift typically does not tighten the forehead skin. A forehead lift is done to improve the position of the eyebrows and may secondarily soften some of the wrinkles. If you want to improve the texture of the skin then you can consider resurfacing procedures such as lasers, radio frequency skin tightening or chemical peels. A consultation with a facial plastic surgeon will help to see what specific concerns that you may have. Good luck in your area.
