What is the best treatment to reduce the appearance of static wrinkles?

Fraxel or Co2 are best for resurfacing and can improve static wrinkles. I always combine lasers with microneedling/prp, Sculptra, peels, fillers and rf treatments for more robust outcomes for facial rejuvenation. Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2.

Thank you for your question.  You can improve the texture of your skin with microdermasion, skinpen microneedling, and CO2 skin resurfacing laser.  They all help to exfoliate the dead the skin cells, smooth out the texture of your skin, kill bacteria, increase collagen and elastin production.  Your skin will look and feel rejuvenated after each treatment

Have your dermatologist recommend a medical-grade skin care regimen with retinol and hyaluronic acid. Get regular chemical peels. Fillers and/or Botox would give improvement to wrinkles and static lines. I hope this helps.

Treatment of static wrinkles is a combination of a good skin care regimen and an appropriate Medical treatment. Visit a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to develop a skincare program that will improve your texture and wrinkles. Should you desire additional treatment, fractionated lasers, ablative lasers and micro-needling are effective. We usually combine these with PRP to enhance the results and speed the healing.

This is a great question as there are many options for treating wrinkles on the face. Wrinkles that result from lack of support in or  under the skin can be improved with fillers. Wrinkles that are from folding and movement around the mouth can benefit from some of the newer more elastic fillers. In the upper face, botox sometimes in combination with fillers may be helpful.  Wrinkles from thinning skin benefit from collagen stimulation from chemical peels,  laser devices or  micro-needling (with or without radio frequency energy) and/or  good skin care products.  Wrinkles from too much skin excess may require surgery with or without the above procedures.

From what you describe, resurfacing is your best option as long as you are a candidate. A picture would be helpful. If your complexion is too dark for laser, you might want to try microneedling.
