in excellent physical condition, and am not obese. I am considering having this done on my abdomen, flanks and possibly back. Is this a practical solution to my mid body weight gain?

Answer: Skin tightening vs lipo Thanks for the question, as someone who focuses on energy based minimally invasive liposuction I see a lot of patients like you. There and lipo are not great for thin people with loose skin, I tell patients they need it cut out and they will be much happier a year later when they are tight and the scar has faded. That being said I can't see or feel your skin quality but I find the lipo with tightening to be much more effective in the younger population where the collagen is thicker and stronger. Make sure you choose the procedure that matches your goals and don't do something expensive with a lot of downtime that won't give you the results you want!
